Provider Verification Policy

What we check before a kidney care provider is listed or receives an enquiry, and what "verified" does and does not mean.

How verification is shown

Each listing in the provider directory shows its verification status, the checks completed and the date we last verified it. We re-check every listing at least every 12 months. If a re-check is overdue, the listing is marked "Re-verification due" and we stop sending new enquiries until it is complete.

What verified does not mean

Verification confirms registration, licensing and the details in the listing. It is not a rating of clinical quality, it is not a guarantee of any outcome, and it is not a recommendation of one provider over another. Your care is the responsibility of the provider you see.

Ranking and payment

Listings are never ordered by payment. Providers cannot pay to appear higher, to be marked as verified or to receive more enquiries. The directory is shown in alphabetical order, filtered only by area and service. Enquiries are matched on the type of care needed, the area and availability.

Suspension and removal

We suspend or remove a listing if a registration or licence lapses, if listed details prove wrong, if referred patients are not contacted as agreed, or if a provider misuses patient details.

Report a concern

If you think a listing is wrong, or you had a problem after being referred, email hello@mombasakidneycare.co.ke. Concerns about a doctor's professional conduct can also be raised with KMPDC.

Providers can read how to be listed and verified.
