For providers

List Your Kidney Care Service

For clinics, hospitals, nephrologists, laboratories and imaging services in Mombasa that want to be listed in our verified directory and receive patient enquiries with consent.

What Mombasa Kidney Care is

Mombasa Kidney Care is a patient education and care navigation website. We publish plain-language guides on kidney tests and conditions, reviewed against recognised guidance such as KDIGO. Readers who want care can send a short enquiry, and we help them reach an appropriate verified provider.

We do not diagnose or treat, we do not rate doctors, and we do not publish "best provider" rankings.

Who can apply

  • Nephrologists and internal medicine physicians offering kidney care
  • Clinics and hospitals with kidney, diabetes or hypertension services
  • Laboratories offering kidney blood and urine tests
  • Imaging services offering kidney ultrasound
  • Dialysis units

What we verify

Before a listing goes live we check:

  • Professional registration: current registration of the doctors named in the listing with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), including specialist registration where a specialist is named.
  • Facility licence: a current licence for the facility where care is given.
  • Laboratory accreditation, where relevant: current licensing of the laboratory, and any accreditation the lab states in its listing.
  • Services and hours: which kidney services are actually offered, on which days, and the opening hours, confirmed with the provider.
  • Response commitment: an agreement to contact patients referred through the site within 24 hours, and to tell us if you cannot help.

We re-check listings at least every 12 months and whenever we learn that something has changed. Full details are in our provider verification policy.

How enquiries reach you

  1. A patient completes a short enquiry: the type of care, their area, how soon, how to contact them, their first name and one contact detail. No medical history is collected.
  2. The patient ticks a consent box agreeing that their details may be shared with one verified provider matched to their request.
  3. We match the enquiry to one provider based on the service needed, the area and availability.
  4. We send you the enquiry. You contact the patient and agree any appointment directly with them.
  5. We may ask you whether contact was made and whether an appointment was booked, so we can check the service is working for patients. We do not ask for clinical details.

You must use enquiry details only to contact that patient about their care, keep them secure, and act on any request from the patient to stop or delete them, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Fair listing rules

  • Listings are never ordered by payment. The directory is shown alphabetically and filtered only by area and service.
  • Listing wording must be factual and objective, in line with KMPDC rules on professional advertising. We do not publish testimonials, outcome claims or superlatives.
  • We may remove a listing if checks lapse, details are wrong, or patients are not contacted as agreed.
